Đây là một trong những món ăn khá phổ biến ở Thái Lan. Thịt gà được ướp, tẩm gia vị rất kỹ, gói bên trong lá dứa (lá nếp) rất thơm, chiên giòn tạo nên một món ăn mới lạ, hấp dẫn.
Lườn gà rửa sạch, cắt miếng vừa ăn. Hành lá rửa sạch, cắt nhỏ, cho ra chén.
Ướp lườn gà với nước cốt dừa, dầu hào, tiêu, hạt nêm, nước mắm, tỏi băm và hành lá khoảng 10 phút cho ngấm gia vị. Lá dứa rửa sạch, dùng khăn hoặc khăn giấy, lau khô.
Đầu tiên, bắt chéo 2 đầu lá dứa lại với nhau, cho miếng thịt gà vào giữa như hình bên. Mè trắng rang qua cho thơm.
Sau đó, gấp 2 đầu lá dứa xuống và gài vào bên trong là xong. Gần giống như buộc miếng thịt vào trong lá dứa.
Làm nóng dầu ăn trong chảo, cho lá dứa cuộn gà vào, chiên chín giòn. Thỉnh thoảng lật đều để món ăn không bị cháy.
Cho món ăn ra đĩa, chấm kèm với nước tương có rắc ít mè trắng vào cho thơm. Nhìn thôi là muốn thưởng thức ngay rồi!
